Description
A third monochrome interpretation of this Cuban museum. Color versions also available in Cities and Digital Art Photography collections. Cubaocho is an icon of the Cuban community of Little Havana in Miami, Florida, USA. It is an active community gathering place, functioning as a museum of Cuban art, and as a center of Cuban music, dance and culture. Tourists often stop there to spend time appreciating the gamut of Cuban artists work hung everywhere along all the walls as well as to have a drink and a bite to eat. It exudes Cuban life - from a different time and place. The initial art was brought from Cuba by Roberto Ramos, who escaped Cuba via boat in 1992. He has spent the rest of the intervening years amassing the Cuban art collection that now adorns the walls of Cubaocho. This image is of the library of important Cuban literature that serves as the backdrop to the entertainment stage.
