I worked this spring blooming tree for a while in the late afternoon. Loved the way the sun was coming tangentially through the blossoms, often lighting up the interior parts of the flower - where the bees go for the honey gold and come out with the pollen. Part of the cycle of life.

The power of light - often juxtaposed with the lack of it in the shadows, is what permits any photographer to share his or her unique perspective of the world.
