These Jersey cows were enjoying an afternoon in their very green field in Vermont. Cows are often curious, as anyone would be who had nothing to do but munch grass all day. But this herd of Jerseys seemed to be determined to interact with us. Almost like large dogs. They really enjoyed a good scratch behind the ears.
