Artist's Description

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is located where the foothills of the Rocky Mountains begin to rise from the prairie west of Fort Macleod, Alberta, Canada on highway 785. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of a museum of Blackfoot culture. The buffalo jump was used for 5,500 years by the indigenous peoples of the plains to kill bison by driving them off the high cliff. About Ginger Stein

Ginger Stein

The power of light - often juxtaposed with the lack of it in the shadows, is what permits any photographer to share his or her unique perspective of the world. Stories and moments captured through a lens. I share what impacts me, delights me, disturbs me. I specialize in land / waterscape, macro, black and white, architectural, and minimalist photography.
