Description
Folks in my photo shoot group were taking pictures of this particular tiger for a while, as was I. Suddenly he got up and was immediately in front of my camera and really in my face. His expression seems stern, as if to say, ""I've had enough". Or was there something about my camera or my scent that made him interested enough to come investigate? I'll never know. How I wish we could interpret big cat stoic stares or read body language. But that experience converted me to the side tat says this kind of photography might not be ethical. Situations in which animals are trapped, and have to sit for our convenience are really taking advantage of the animal for our own convenience. Particularly true of wild animal preserves at which they charge a high price for photographers to shoot images of the animals who are lured and fed right in front of the photographers. Think about it.
