Description
The jade vine is a spectacular climbing vine that winds its way up the forest canopy to the sunlight. Bats like to hang upside down from the stalks of the jade vine flowers to drink the nectar from each flower. The jade vine is threatened in its native habitat in the tropical forests of the Philippines. Deforestation ahs destroyed over 90% of its habitat. Enjoy it while we can. A painterly version can be found in my Digital Art Photography Collection..

I have never seen this bloom. So pretty.
Ginger Stein replied:
This is just one bloom on an entire tunnel arbor full of them - very astounding to see.

Beautiful close up photograph of a Jade Vine, with great colors and perspective, Ginger! F/L

Thank you Morris - the arbor this was on was almost unreal with all these blooms
