Description
The Prince of Wales Hotel is a historic hotel located in Waterton, Alberta, Canada. The hotel is situated within Waterton Lakes National Park, overlooking Upper Waterton Lakes. The hotel was designed by and built for the Great Northern Railway company.
The building is considered one of Canada's grand railway hotels, and is the only grand railway hotel built by a company based in the United States. The building was named as a National Historic Site of Canada in November 1992.

Spectacular capture

You usually see images of this hotel pointed the other way - pointed so one can see all the way to the horizon on Waterton Lake that this classic hotel sits at the head of. Of course I have that iconic image to. But I noticed how the seam of lighter rock points right at the hotel. I also like how the massiveness of the mountain reminds us how little we all are in relation to Mother Nature.
