Description
Peggy's Cove is a tiny hamlet on the southern shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. It is marked by one of the most famous lighthouses in North America. But the hamlet also contains other amazing vignettes, including the façade of St John's Anglican Church. The stark geometry of this building just called out to me. This angle lines up the roof lines as if superimposed. St. John's Anglican Church is an historic Carpenter Gothic style Anglican church building located at 8 Church Road in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. Built in 1893–94 of wood, St. John's is the only church in Peggy's Cove. Its steep pitched roof, board and batten siding and lancet windows are typical of Carpenter Gothic churches
