Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

Wood Storks (Mycteria americana) are hefty wading birds with football-shaped bodies perched atop long legs. They have a long neck and a long, thick bill that is curved at the tip. They fly with their neck and legs outstretched but tend to perch with the neck drawn in, giving them a humpbacked appearance. Wood Storks are entirely white save for their black flight feathers and tail. The head is unfeathered and scaly-looking. Wood Storks frequently feed in groups with their heads down feeling for prey in open wetlands. Within the group, they often feed in lines—one after the other. They fly with head and legs outstretched, soaring on thermals high into the sky like a raptor or vulture. Wood Storks breed in fresh and brackish forested wetlands. They forage in wetlands, swamps, ponds, and marshes, especially those with an open canopy. This one nested in Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida, USA.

About Ginger Stein

Ginger Stein

The power of light - often juxtaposed with the lack of it in the shadows, is what permits any photographer to share his or her unique perspective of the world. Stories and moments captured through a lens. I share what impacts me, delights me, disturbs me. I specialize in land / waterscape, macro, black and white, architectural, and minimalist photography. It's difficult to explain why I find capturing the world around me so addictive - a rushing mountain waterfall surrounded by the brilliant colors of fall, the incredible microscopic beauty of a flower center, the graphic simplicity of an architectural element, the distorted reflection of one skyscraper in the windows of another, a violent purple sky traced by lightning are all part...
