Artist's Description
Marina Piccola - little harbor - is located on the southern side of the island of Capri on the Sorrentino Peninsula of Italy. It is nestled at the base of giant cliffs which provide a narrow fringe of protected beach. There are several swim clubs and restaurants snuggled into the cliff base. The Marina area is accessed by the Via Marina - a zig zag narrow street that winds its way down a less precipitous part of the cliff. Views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and i Faraglioni - the Faraglioni Rocks - are spectacular from here.
