Color version available. View of Grand Canyon from north rim and of the Kaibab Plateau beyond. The colors and depth of the canyon are almost unbelievably majestic on a very grand scale. But black and white also emphasizes the geology. I find natural elements like this make me feel both infinitesimally small and yet also large in the sense that I am part of this grand scheme...one of the many life forms that has inhabited this earth. Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA.
