Peggy;s Cove Lighthouse is perched on a boulder strewn rocky shoreline in the small hamlet of Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. The lighthouse is situated on the southeastern side of the province, facing the open North Atlantic ocean. In spite of the hamlet's small size and somewhat remote location, it is a vey popular stop for both tourists and photographers alike. Its sometime diffiult to get images that are not overrun with tourists who love to jump aorund on the boulders. This image was taken late in the afternoon after crowds thinned out.a bit. Its usually the photographers that hang around hoping for a sunset or stormy skies after the tour buses have departed.
